Cookies

What the website stores in your browser and what you can do about it.

Effective from 1 November 2026

The brainee.eu website is mostly a shop window for the app, so it stores very little. This document describes what and why.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something — that you are signed in, say, or which language you chose. Alongside cookies, websites also use similar technologies in the browser's local storage.

2. What we use

PurposeNeeds consent?How long
Signing in and securing the accountNo, it is necessaryUntil sign-out, at most 30 days
Remembering the chosen languageNo, it is necessary1 year
Traffic measurementYes13 months

We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. We sell no one data about what you looked at.

4. How to delete them

You can delete stored cookies in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or History. You can also block them in advance — but then signing in may not work.

5. The mobile app

The iOS and Android apps do not use cookies. They store data directly on the device; what happens with it is described in the Privacy document.
